Brian Cayce leads the sourcing, evaluation and execution of social venture capital investment opportunities for Gray Matters Capital. Brian's commercial and international skills and interests lead the strategy, crafting the investment portfolio, and collaborating with the stakeholders of GMC. His professional background includes over 10 years in both the private and public sectors, beginning with successful completion of service as a Peace Corps Volunteer and including time with KPMG, CARE, Benevolink, and as an independent consultant prior to Gray Matters Capital.
Brian is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Georgia Honors Program, and holding an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. Brian recently passed the Certified Financial Planner board exam.
An active member of Rotary International, Brian serves on the Board of Directors for two local non-profit organizations. He resides in Decatur, GA with his wife and son.
