Capitalizing on GMC’s enthusiastic sponsor, management’s passion and skills, and our strong network of partners in the microfinance space, GMC uses its established understanding of the dynamics of this emerging market environment to co-create programs and/or make early stage equity investments focused on underserved populations.

GMC identifies opportunities or ideas for exploration and research through our program activities. GMC systematically captures these ideas, sharing concepts with external allies in order to identify appropriate vehicles for implementation, and explore the potential for scalability and sustainability. This exploratory work is frquently done with an eye toward spinning off viable models for independent pursuit external to GMC.

We also investigate early stage businesses in need of equity capital with high social impact potential and a clear path to financial success. As enterprises pass through our investment pipeline, GMC engages a network of developers to provide valuable input to the entrepreneurs, seek out strategic partnerships, recommend an investment decision, and often serve in a governance role on behalf of GMC.
